You've Been Sentenced review and giveaway!

My family and I were recently given the opportunity to play the game "You've been Sentenced", Twisted Fish, and The Wheel of Chore-ture by McNeill Brighter Minds!

We decided to play "You've been Sentenced" first. We received the game, plus 5 add on packs. At first sight, it looks odd. All the cards are pentagon shaped! When you are playing "You've been Sentenced", you try to make the best possible sentence out of the 10 cards in your hand. They come out being weird, silly, and a little a lot off the wall. The other players at the table become "the jury" and decide if your sentence is grammatically correct and make sense. If they think your sentence is just to out there you get nothing!
My husband and I played first even though it clearly states 3-8 players. It was fun trying to make the sentences, especially when you get a bad hand. But really you do need at least 3 people. We spent a lot time trying to argue justify our sentences. When in doubt (and you don't have a third player) call in the 2 year old! (And bribe him to say yes.)
Then we played with a few friends of ours. (I thought our sentences were weird, theirs were so strange I think they might not be right in the head.) But anyways, it is WAY more fun with a group of people!
The deck comes with 540 cards and they also sell add-on packs to go with the game. They are:

The game has also won some great awards! A few of them are:

• Dr. Toy Best Products Winner 2007

Recently the makers signed a deal to turn the popular game into a televised game show! That is so awesome for them! I look forward to watching it!

We also received Twisted Fish! This game was a lot of fun too! Think Go Fish, but twisted. This game has 13 different kids of weird fish in 5 different colors, such as the Card Shark and the Flying Fish. The game also has Zinger Wild cards which really made the game entertaining. This game can also be modified for whatever skill level your child should playing. Mr. Destructo really liked the colors and the fish, but mostly he liked to help show Daddy my hand. Again, the more players you have the more fun it is!

Finally, the last thing in our package was The Wheel of Chore-ture! It is magnetic and holds nicely to the fridge. Mr. Destructo likes to spin the arrow. While my 2 boys are to young for chores, I can't wait to use it! Pretty simple idea, spin the arrow and receive your punishment, I mean chore. Is it wrong to use The Wheel of Chore-ture for punishment? I have high hopes for this in the future!
